Tucson MLS Statistics November 2013

I want to get these Statistics up, so I am just going to give you that for now. I will try to write my Government thoughts before Christmas.

Some things are good, and some not quite so good. Median Sales Price went up as it and the Average Sales Price were affected by the lower number of sales over $500,000. We had almost 200 fewer sales this month which is probably the worst part of this month. Over all, things did not get better but not real bad.

I still put our housing problems on the Economy. The uncertainty is killing us in almost all areas of the Economy. Interest rates are still hovering around 4.5%. In the last week it has pushed up to that level and could continue up towards 4.75%.

If you still want to own a home, for probably less than you are renting for, it makes sense to buy. Washington Federal has a new 5% down program with no Private Mortgage insurance(PMI). A little more in interest but no PMI for the life of the Loan, as you will find in a 3.5% FHA loan. Anyway do think about it.
